#3 County & #9 Pop

Country Singer/Songwriter Roger Miller had plenty of crossover hits in the Sixties and I was a  fan of them all — both the straight honky-tonk sounds of “King of the Road” to the novelty tunes like this one — “Chug-A-Lug.”  Plus he was fun to watch when he guested on the many variety shows of the era.  He seemed like such a fun person and his songs and performances always left you feeling good! R.I.P. Mr. Miller and thank you for the musical legacy you left us.

Musically Yours,
