#3 Pop

After charting #1 here in the US with the Tony Hatch penned “Downtown” (her first single)  in 1965 –Pet hit the charts again at #3 with her second single release. It was another Hatch composition called “I Know A Place.”

Both songs are mos def  “feel good” songs. Whenever I hear them on the radio on my commute to work my mind always goes back to playing with my Barbie doll and having her sing these songs at her pretend night club with her pretend microphone and pink scarf.

I know some of you female boomers can relate. (LOL)
