“A Summer Song,” composed by CliveMetcalfe, Chad Stuart and Ken Noble, was the second single release for the British Folk Rock duo Chad & Jeremy. Their first single came and went without fanfare, but this second single got them on the US Charts and was the start of a string of stateside hits.
