“Eight Days A Week” Performed by The Beatles (1965)

April 18, 2011

After The Gary Lewis & The Playboys’ cover version of “This Diamond Ring” spent two weeks at the top of the Billboard Chart,  it was knocked out of the coveted spot by “My Girl” performed by the Temptations.  Once again Motown still could rule during the midst of the British Music invasion: Go Motown!

But after a week on top in March 1965, The Beatles came back to the number one spot with “Eight Days A Week” and stayed there for two weeks.

This song brings back good times, good times and good feelings.

Oh and be sure to check out my post on”My Girl” if you didn’t click on the direct link already at the top of this post.

Musically Yours,
