Rosie Hamlin had her first and last big hit with this doo-wop ballad she wrote at age 14 and recorded at the tender age of 15.  Soon after this hit zoomed the charts the group “Rosie & The Originals” disbanded.

Rosie went on to write and record as a solo artist, she but never reached the same heights as with “Angel Baby”.

Rosie is still singing her classic hit today as witnessed here in this YouTube clip from a recent (2002) PBS Doo-Wop Special. So what do you think?
