Your recall is absolutely correct Raejean! The post should read that Sonny & Cher met when she was about aged 16 in 1962 (Cher was born 5/20/1946) The duo dated and married in 1964 when Cher was of age(18). I seem to remember that Cher was a couple of years younger than that, i.e., jailbait, when they got together.
